Greater user interaction

This allows users to interact with the website. This means that users are able to create the content that is in websites such as Youtube and Wikipedia. Web 2:0 technologies is a popular term used to explain advanced internet technology and different applications as listed above.
I am now going to explain these in more detail.

Blogger

Creating a blog is where the user can create a website on a chosen topic and interact with others by commenting on different posts stating tour own opinion on certain topics. Blogger allows the user to create a website with the use of different templates and backgrounds of their choice and also allows the user to design their own colours of their choice. This is going to make the created website more attractive and interesting for other people viewing the blog. Blogger also allows the user to upload videos and pictures of their choice for others to view and also allows the user and others to post comments and opinions on different topics.

Facebook

Facebook is a social networking site that allows users to interact and communicate with others. Facebook users can create and customise their own profiles with photos, videos, and information about themselves. Friends can browse the profiles of other friends and write messages on their pages.
Each Facebook profile has a "wall," where friends can post comments. Since the wall is viewable by all the user's friends, wall postings are basically a public conversation. Therefore, it is usually best not to write personal messages on your friends' walls. Instead, you can send a person a private message, which will show up in his or her private Inbox, similar to an e-mail message.
Facebook allows each user to set privacy settings, which by default are pretty strict. For example, if you have not added a certain person as a friend, that person will not be able to view your profile. However, you can adjust the privacy settings to allow users within your network to view part or all of your profile.

Twitter

Twitter is yet another social networking site that allows users to interact with friends, family and also celebrities. Each celebrity that the user is interested in should have a twitter account and this allows users to follow their favorite celebrity on twitter. The user can also send tweets to this celebrity and if decided the celebrity can choose to follow the user back. This then means that the chosen celebrity and the user can both send private mails to each other. This also means that both twitter accounts can be viewed at any time by both people and is also a good way of communicating without the use of email addresses. Users are also able to put statuses up of their choice in a way of communicating with others and they are only allowed to use 140 characters for each post on their twitter account.
